Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 - Reach Delhi

The tour operator will pick you up from the airport or railway or bus station and transfer you to any good hotel in the capital. Delhi has nice and affordable accommodation options. Step out for visit to different tourist places in Delhi such as Qutab Minar, Red Fort, Lodhi Gardens, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate, etc. Delhi is the food capital of the country. You name a cuisine and you will get it here. Enjoy your meal in any of the well-known eating joint in the capital. Overnight stay is in Delhi.

Day 2 - Delhi to Mandawa (258 kms)

In the morning you will leave for Mandawa which is known as Land of Havelis. It takes roughly 6 hours to reach Mandawa. Snehi Ram Ladia Haveli is the prime attraction in Mandawa. You must also visit the Harlalka Well and Golden Haveli to have a feel of the bygone era. Overnight stay is in Mandawa.

Day 3 - Mandawa to Bikaner (194 kms)

In the morning the tour operator will transfer you to Bikaner. The journey takes around 3 hours 30 minutes. Bikaneri sweets and snacks are popular all across the world for their mind blowing taste. The city is home to several forts and palaces such as Lallgarh Palace, Junagarh Fort, Gajner Palace etc. Overnight stay is in Bikaner.

Day 4 - Bikaner to Jaisalmer

In the morning you will leave for land of dunes Jaisalmer. It takes around 5 hours to reach. Riding on a camel back on the dunes and enjoying dance and music performance by the local dancers and artists is undoubtedly an exhilarating experience. Overnight stay is in Jaisalmer.

Day 5 - Jaisalmer Sightseeing

In the morning you will leave for a sightseeing tour of this Golden City which is located in heart of Thar Desert. Visit the Jaisalmer Fort which houses ornate Jane temples. Then head to Patwon Ki Haveli which has a museum containing ancient artwork and furniture. Another well known spot in the city is Gadsisar Lake. Overnight stay is in Jaisalmer.

Day 6 - Jaisalmer to Jodhpur

In morning you will leave for Jodhpur popularly known as the "Blue City". It takes around 5 hours to reach Jodhpur. Jodhpur has lately emerged as popular venue for Indian wedding due to its royal forts and palaces. The grandeur and appeal of Mehrangarh Fort which is a huge historical site will leave you awestruck. Visit Umaid Bhawan Palace, which is an amazingly beautiful regal hotel. Overnight stay is in Jodhpur.

Day 7 - Jodhpur sightseeing

The day will start with visit to Jaswant Thada which is a cenotaph built by Maharaja Sardar Singh of Jodhpur. Visit Mandore Gardens which are beautifully sculpted gardens featuring monuments, statues and a temple. If you want to indulge in some shopping- visit Ghanta Ghar which is a busy city square where you will get all kinds of things. Overnight stay is in Jodhpur.

Day 8 - Jodhpur to Ranakpur

In the morning leave for Ranakpur which will take around 3 hours. Ranakpur Jain Temple is quite popular. Other key places to visit here are Surya Narayan Temple, Sadri, Muchhal Mahavir Temple, etc. Overnight stay is in Ranakpur.

Day 9 - Ranakpur to Udaipur

In the morning you will leave for Udaipur in a pre-booked taxi. On reaching Udaipur step out to see Jagmandir. This is a luxurious 17th century palace complex. Udaipur is popularly known as City of Lakes. Take a boat ride and some pictures at Lake Pichola. In the evening you can visit the Vintage Car Museum.

Day 10 - Udaipur to Pushkar

In the morning you will leave for Pushkar in an A/C sedan taxi. The journey roughly takes 6 hours and you will be in Pushkar by lunch time. Pushkar is a well-known popular pilgrimage site for Hindus. It is home to the only Brahmaji Temple in the world. Go for a boat ride at the Pushkar Lake in the evening. Overnight stay is in a hotel in Pushkar.

Day 11 - Pushkar to Jaipur

In the morning you will leave Jaipur which is popularly known as Pink city. It will take you 3 hrs to reach. The entire city was painted in pink when in 18th century Prince of Wales visited here, thus the name Pink City. Visit City Palace, which is known for its outstanding architecture and excellent craftsmanship. Then you can visit Jantar Mantar which is royal observatory flanked by astronomers from across the globe. Overnight stay is in Jaipur.

Day 12 - Jaipur sightseeing

In the morning after having breakfast you can leave for the sightseeing tour. You can have the tour guide to accompany you. There are many outstanding places to see in Jaipur. You can start with visit to Amer Fort. Once you are done with Amer Fort you can proceed towards Hawa Mahal, also known as palace of winds. During later part visit other places such as Mehrangarh Fort, Jawahar Circle etc. Overnight stay is in Jaipur.

Day 13 - Jaipur to Agra via Fatehpur Sikri

Early in the morning you will be leave for Agra. On reaching Agra the tour guide will take to see Taj Mahal, which is a breathtakingly beautiful monument made entirely out of white marble. Agra is a prime tourist destination. It is now a World UNESCO Heritage site. Besides Taj Mahal other places to see in Agra are Agra Fort, Mehtab Bagh, Tomb of Itimad-ud Daulah, Dayal Bagh Mandir etc. Taj Mahal is closed for public viewing on Friday so make sure you are not in Agra on a Friday. Overnight stay is in Agra.

Day 14 - Agra to New Delhi and then to your onward destination

In the evening you will leave for Delhi. It takes almost 5 hrs to reach Delhi. On way you can take a tour of Fatehpur Sikri which was built by Mughal emperor Akbar. The city is in ruins now. Once you reach Delhi you will stop somewhere for refreshments and then head straight to the airport where you will board a flight for your onward destination.
