The counter opens an hour before the sunrise. Entry fee for Taj Mahal is just INR 50 for Indian Nationals. Foreigners have to pay INR 1100 in order to enter the monument. If you wish to see the main mausoleum you have to pay an additional INR 200. This ivory white monument built by Shahjahan is the prime attraction of Agra.
You can stop at any of the well-known restaurants in Agra for a delectable Mughali meal. Some of the popular joints in Agra are Jahanpanah, Pind Balluchi, Pinch of Spice, etc. After that you can proceed to visit Agra Fort.
After you are done with your lunch you must proceed to visit another magnificent tourist spot in Agra- Agra Fort. This well known tourist site in Agra is spread over a huge area of 2.5 km. Agra Fort was prime residence of Mughal kings till 1638. It is built totally out of red sandstone.
Once you are done with visiting Agra Fort you can proceed to visit Sikandra which is located in suburbs of Agra. You can visit Akbar's tomb which is located on grounds of Sikandra.
Now you can leave for Delhi otherwise it will get very late at night. Once you are in Delhi the tour representative will come to pick you up and transfer you to your chosen hotel or the airport in accordance to your wish.
