Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Agra

The tour representative will pick you up from the airport or the railway station. The first half of the day can be spent visiting key tourist places in Delhi such as JamaMasjid which is one of the biggest mosques in the country, Red Fort also referred to as Lal Quila and Humayun's Tomb. If you have time you must also visit Lotus Temple and India GateOnce you are done seeing these tourist places you will leave for Jaipur in a prepaid taxi. The distance between Delhi to Jaipur is 282 kms and it takes roughly 5 hours to cover this distance. Overnight stay is in a hotel in Jaipur.

Day 2: Jaipur to Agra in a prepaid taxi enroute Fatehpur Sikri

In the morning you will begin with sightseeing quite early. Visit Amber Fort which is located on a hilltop and offers a beautiful view of the city. Other places worth visiting in Jaipur are City Palace, Hawa Mahal and Jantar Mantar which is a royal observatory. Enjoy your lunch at a popular eating place in Jaipur and after that. you will leave for Agra in a prepaid taxi. On the way take a halt at Fateh-pur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit Buland Darwaza which was built by Mughal ruler Akbar to mark his win over Gujarat and Tomb of Sufi saint, Salim Chisti. Head towards Agra and you will be able reach by night. Overnight stay is in a hotel in Agra.

Day 3: Agra to Delhi

In the morning you will proceed for the sunrise view of the Taj Mahal. Taj Mahal is like a dream in ivory-white marble. This monument is one of the prime reasons why tourists flank to Agra. It was built by ShahJahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. This lovely monument will without a doubt leave you awestruck with its beauty. Just make sure you have the entry ticket booked for you in prior. This way you will not have to stand in queues to collect your ticket. Leave for Delhi by lunch time. If you are not stuck in traffic you will reach Delhi on time. Taj Expressway has made Delhi to Agra journey very comfortable and convenient. On reaching Delhi if there is still time on hand you can visit the Akshardham Temple. This temple is known for its superb architecture. Later on, you can leave for the airport in order to catch a flight for your onward destination.
